ANWOL’s Response: Emergency Relief & Long-Term Recovery
"I never thought I’d be here standing in the wreckage of everything I once had, everything I once was. Two houses that held my dreams, now just empty shells. Two cars that carried me through so many memories, now gone. But none of that compares to losing her my sister, the way she died is so painful." - Zaire C.
Over 9,000 structures in Altadena were destroyed by the January 2025 wildfires. A New Way of Life Reentry Project (ANWOL) is stepping up to provide immediate relief and long-term recovery support—ensuring that no one is left behind.
ANWOL has launched a distribution center that is providing both immediate and long-term relief to fire survivors—including those impacted by incarceration and low-income families already struggling before the disaster.
Please help Zaire, his family and his community.
